Small business should use TikTok: 5 reasons why

TikTok is an app that was launched in 2016 in China and has quickly become one of the most popular social media platforms. Nowadays it is the fastest growing social media and it is impossible to ignore its power. So here are 5 reasons why should every small business use TikTok.

1. Unique algorithm

TikTok has a unique algorithm that works totally different from its competitors. The app uses machine learning that personalize the feed for every user. Taking that into consideration the app will show the videos to people that are the most interested in the content that small business provides.

2. Influencers

One of most charming things about this app is that everyone can go viral. Even people with less than 100 followers and views can get a million views on their next video. In other words TikTok has a limitless pool of influencers, so if a small business is looking to target a specific group of people on a specific location, they will find a perfect individual that fits their criteria.

3. User friendly

The app does not have many features that would make it burdensome to use. Actually, the app is quite straightforward, so even seniors or kids could navigate through app. Furthermore, it is very easy to post videos, since they are very short, simple and effortless to edit.

4. Reach masses

TikTok has been downloaded over 3 billion times and had over 1.2 billion monthly active users in Q4 2021. Therefore the exposure is truly next level. Certainly that means it is well-populated platform with people of different age and because of that ideal place to reach international audience.

5. Budget friendly

Many small businesses are questioning themselves if it is worth investing time and money in another social media platform. Would it be worth to set up new campaigns and keep track of another app’s data.  One of the most appealing thing about TikTok for small business is that it can generate success no matter the size of the budget. And additional to that it is moderately easy for the unknown small businesses to achieve organic reach.
