More recently, “How many SNS do you use a day?”, I think this question is more appropriate. When you wake up, you will check your friends’ messages through Snapchat and see what happened all night on Twitter. Tik Tok takes responsibility for the boring way to work and uses YouTube when eating dinner. We use various SNS depending on the situation and our mood.

When we want to share a fantastic picture of ourselves in front of the Eiffel Tower, maybe we click on Instagram, not YouTube. Facebook, Likedin, Pinterest, and many other platforms are emerging, and the reason why they’re being actively used is because they have their own purpose.

The government of Canada has announced that it will strengthen support for Canadians aging at home. Let’s assume that we created a public interest advertisement that promotes plans such as retirement and new initiatives for public relations. What kind of SNS will you choose?

If you choose Instagram as before, this it not the answer. Because it won’t be effective. Only about 25 percent of Canada’s population aged 65 and over use Instagram. Also, the image of promoting policies doesn’t go well with it. Facebook, which is used by more than 75% of 65 and over people, may be an alternative.

As such, each SNS has a clear difference in the direction it is used and the way it is consumed, so we must analyze this! No matter how good the hearing effects are, if you choose SNS incorrectly, it will just be silent.
