The Digital Collage at HEC Montréal
Help your teams understand the environmental impacts of digital technologies
The Digital Collage is a half-day collaborative workshop designed to help participants understand how digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, influence our environment and the way we live.
Based on scientific research and validated by an expert committee, the workshop combines pedagogy, collective intelligence, and action-oriented reflection.
Led by members of HEC Montréal, the Digital Collage enables companies and organizations to initiate a collective reflection on responsible digital transformation and to identify concrete levers for action within their teams.

Why bring the Digital Collage to your teams?
Raise collective awareness about the environmental impact of digital technologies.
Bring your teams together around a participatory and engaging workshop.
Identify concrete actions and strategies to reduce your organization’s digital footprint.
Strengthen your CSR commitments and your sustainable transformation initiatives.
How the workshop unfolds
Part 1: Understanding : In teams of 4 to 8, participants work together to identify and connect the concepts represented on the cards, building a complete “Collage” that illustrates the impacts of digital technologies.
Part 2: Creativity : Participants illustrate their findings, highlight key messages, and choose a title for their Collage to reinforce comprehension and team cohesion.
Part 3: Debrief : Each team presents its Collage: title, key messages, and visual elements. The facilitator then provides an oral debrief summarizing the essential insights.
Part 4: Action : Participants explore the Action Cards and discuss which initiatives would be most relevant for their organization, paving the way for concrete next steps.
