Since the 2000s, streaming has grown significantly, largely thanks to pioneers like <strong>Spotify<\/strong>, <strong>Deezer<\/strong>, and <strong>Apple Music<\/strong>. Here, we will take a closer look at Spotify and explore the marketing strategies it uses to maintain its current leadership position in music streaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify focuses on the <strong>user experience<\/strong> and <strong>customer loyalty<\/strong>, and as a result, the company now has over 450 million users and a strong brand image with a highly recognizable logo. This is one of the things that has transformed the music industry and its marketing strategies. As a result, it gives everyone easy access to music. So it\u2019s no longer just an asset for the company or the artists, but also for other companies looking to promote themselves through ads and marketing strategies. This system allows users to use Spotify without paying, while also encouraging them to upgrade to avoid ads. This feature was launched 10 years ago, allowing users to review the artists, albums, and music genres they listened to most over the course of the year. It\u2019s a concept that works because it lets users review their listening habits in music over the year, but also discover new music genres or new artists, for example. What works best about this concept is the sharing aspect. Every year, users are proud to share their musical year on social media, which provides free advertising for Spotify. To achieve this, the company uses a very powerful algorithm: <strong>the BART model<\/strong>. This allows it to leverage user data and algorithms to refine its music suggestions.
